Girls Get Into Football

NRCFA is encouraging more girls to take part in football.

As part of The FA’s objective to double girls’ participation in football by 2020 The FA and SSE have launched 200 SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Clubs across the country this year. The clubs offer girls aged 5-11 regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions.

Various SSE Wildcats clubs are running throughout North Riding CFA including:

Middlesbrough Sport Village
Sunday 11:30 – 12:30pm

Commenting on the SSE Wildcats, Womens and Girls Officer Donna Crowthers said: "All our SSE Wildcats sessions have been fantastic and the girls have loved being part of the Wildcats family. It’s brilliant to see the girl’s enjoying themselves and make new friends. 2017 is a huge year for Women’s and Girls’ football with the launch of The FA ‘Game Plan for Growth’ strategy and with the Lionesses taking part in the Women’s European Championships."
