Middlesbrough Women are offering the opportunity for female footballers between the ages of 6-15, who play for a local team in and around Teesside to attend their game against Leicester City Women free of charge.

The initiative comes on the back of Middlesbrough Women’s inspiring talent in Teesside campaign. We as a club are committed to trying to encourage female’s that enjoy football to get involved with a team at any level. By running events like this we are trying to give the girls an insight into what it is like to be involved with a club at a premier league standard.

The day is going to include various activities including: poster making competitions, face painting, Q&A with Middlesbrough Women players and the chance to win official Middlesbrough Women merchandise.

The game will be played at Thornaby FC, Teesdale Park, TS17 7LD, on Sunday 28^th of January 2018.

We are asking all participants to arrive at the game for 1pm in their team’s football strip. Confirmation of attendance is compulsory, please email l.stephenson@middlesbroughwomen.co.uk with numbers of how many girls will be attending.

Please be aware there will photography and filming taking place on the day. If any of the participants wish not to be filmed or photographed, please state in the confirmation email.
