Clubs across North Yorkshire and Teesside are invited to join us for a very special free workshop, focusing on awareness of hidden disabilities.

Hosted by Ryan and David from Hidden Disabilities, the duo has been involved in the award-winning #UnsilencingTheCrowd campaign.

Both lifelong supporters of Newcastle United, Ryan and David regularly attend matches at St. James’ Park, yet in their years watching live football, they’ve never experienced the roar of the crowd or the club’s famous chants. They’re among the 12M people in the UK who are deaf, have some form of hearing loss, or suffer from tinnitus. The workshop will deliver a bespoke package of Hidden Disability Awareness training, made all the more impactful through its delivery by two young men that have first-hand experience.

Ryan and David’s aim is to spread awareness of hidden disabilities, and break down barriers throughout the wider community.
