Women's Football
Competitive Football
From grassroots to the FA WSL - explore the many ways you can get involved with women's football in North Riding.
With almost three million active female players, football is the biggest women’s team sport in England – but there is plenty of room for more people to get involved.
There are so many ways for girls and women to join in, no matter what your age or ability level, whether you just want to have a kickabout with your mates or whether you want to be the next Steph Houghton.
North Riding FA supports a number of leagues and opportunities across the county for women & girls to play the beautiful game.

The North Riding Women's Recreational League allows women to play the beautiful game, without committing to the formalities of full-sided league football.
The league is a 7v7 competition, with fixtures played bi-monthly at a central venue.
