SportsGuard are the North Riding FA's official insurance provider and provide all statutory insurance cover for FA Affiliated clubs through their CLUB COVER insurance scheme.

Public Liability

It is compulsory for all affiliated clubs to have Public (General) Liability Insurance cover with a £10m limit and this is detailed within The FA Standard Code of Rules.

The cover continues to apply to our affiliated Clubs, registered Referees, ‘stand-in’ Referees and league competitions.

If you are holding a tournament or you are going on tour abroad, you should contact Sportsguard to ensure the policy will cater for your requirements.

Personal Accident Insurance 

It is compulsory for all teams to have Personal Accident Insurance cover for each team which is detailed within The FA Standard Code of Rules and through Sportsguard, Adult and Youth Teams can select from a wide range of benefit options.

Both public liability and personal accident cover can be purchased during the affiliation process.
