During season 2023/24, we had record number of applicants and subsequent promotions via the FA Refereeing Progression Pathway, demonstrating that opportunities are available for all our match officials to receive CPD and matchday support should they wish.

It must be stressed that whilst you do not need to be a part of any of our groups in order to achieve promotion, it is certainly more beneficial to be part of our development programme to receive as much support as possible.

This extra support through the form of physical, technical and psychological work aims to help each referee unlock their potential and progress through the pathway as better referees.
