Teesside Sport Regional Talent Club is holding open trials for female football players who wish to excel in the sport.

Regional Talent Clubs (RTCs) exist to develop potential England International players capable of winning major championships. Teesside Sport RTC has a firm focus on player development and players reaching their highest potential, such as current Teesside Sport RTC Alumni’s England player Jordan Nobbs and Beth Mead.

Successful trialists at U10, U12, U14 and U16 will train and play full time with the RTC during the 2019/20 season. U10/U12s age groups will compete in a boy’s and girl’s fixtures through a grassroots league.

U14/U16s age groups will compete in a weekly regional fixture program against RTCs. 2018/19 opposition teams have included Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Everton and Sunderland.

All players will have to commit to the full 4-day week training program with the additional game day.

The age ranges for the Regional Talent Club for the 2019/20 season are detailed below:

Please note that all players who wish to be considered for selection must attend the trials. These trials will also include current Regional Talent Club players and there is no guaranteed place for any player.

Trials take place at Olympia Building, Teesside University, Middlesbrough, TS1 3BF on the following dates:

Monday 3 June, Thursday 6 June, Monday 10 June, Thursday 13 June:

• 6.00 – 7:30pm U10’s/U12’s
• 7:30 - 9:00pm U14’s/U16’s
• Please arrive in time to register and start for 6pm (10’s/12’s) & 7:30pm (14/16’s).
