DISABILITY TALENT ID WORKSHOP TO TAKE PLACE IN MARCH

A Disability Talent ID Workshop will be held at North Riding FA HQ on Wednesday 11 March to help provide an understanding of recognising talent within disability football.

The FA Para-Football Talent Strategy details the need to identify players within mainstream education and community football settings who, for a variety of reasons, may not wish to be found. 

One of these reasons is the lack of understanding in relation to the opportunity for a talented player to benefit from a dual pathway involvement (i.e. playing for their club whilst also being engaged in The FA’s Para-Football Talent Pathway). 

This workshop on 11 March will provide you with knowledge of:

- Player pathway
- Age, stage and classification 
- Eligibility and classification 
- Recognise talent/potential 
- International game format 
- Referral process 
- What can you do to help 
- Action planning
